In the next few hours, customers of Issue 02 will notice a change on the cover of their digital comic books. A temporary cover page was created to replace the traditional cover page that normally embraces the front of the books created by the author-creator of the series. Over five illustrators around the world were chosen create the cover over the span of four months but no submissions were made. In the meantime, the author has quickly substituted a cover that illustrates his concept of what the cover should have looked like.
Although the level of skill in the cover art is much lower than the quality of the actual comic images, it should be noted that this is only a concept and artists all over the world are more than welcomed to contribute a complete and permanent version to replace the substitute. If you are an illustrator interested in contributing cover art, please contact Marcus by clicking here.

Apologies for the late post!
I, the author of my life’s work for which you are all here for, have been somewhat busy with traveling around the Pacific and being home with family and into my own shell.
On August 3rd of this year, I announced the completion of my first novel, Yscariot: Sphere of Light. Due to “printing politics” in the US, I will soon release the electronic version of my book online for a price set to $15USD or above for the “first look” of the story.
Meanwhile, a crowd-funding campaign will be in the works to have the book printed in the US. In my current country of residence, China [Shanghai area], books may be printed on demand. The FIRST EDITION (100 books) will be set to $33USD to help fund for legal and publishing costs (if I am going to do the self-publishing route). If we can print more paperback books, then we can get more out to the world.
The First Edition will only include the story, as an illustrated version is in hopes for a later and bigger release if we are successful!
I want to thank all of my followers, supporters, and readers, past-present-future, for all you have done for this story. It’s your story!

In appreciation for all that my mother, and grandmother especially, has done for me and my family, I dedicate this art, illustrated by fellow team member and artist, Gladys Betiles, to my mother. You can also spread the love, too! Whether it’s your mother’s birthday, Mother’s Day, or any day… send this image to your mother, or simply give her a hug.
I thank my mother for her support of my story! It is a long process, but I am getting there! To see the biography of Yscariot’s mother, Maryam, simply click here or visit the character glossary!
Very little activity was done during the Winter and Spring seasons in terms of editing. With several changes happening in Korea, returning to the USA to visit family and friends, and recharging that motivation to get back into writing, it was only a matter of time that I would get back to the story.
While on that break, I was able to come up with ways to strengthen my story and a new idea for another story was born! I will reveal it sometime soon as it was only conceived while on a trip to Shenyang-Beijing (China). To add, I was accepted into Shanghai University’s Master’s Program. Yes, I need a break from traditional work so that I can focus more on myself and my own personal goals. Yscariot being one of them.

I bought a sketch book a week ago and decided to use it to practice my horrible drawing skills. After completing the concept of one of the scenes of my book, I went on my PC and jumped on the digital tablet to concoct another horrible drawing. I actually love my concepts though, since they tell a part of my story, Yscariot: Sphere of Light.
This is an image I made using a couple PC tools to get this idea out. Yscariot and Riu are not only cousins and future heroes of Earth, but they rival each other from. Whether it is besting each other in simple video games to testing out their new-found power, they find the fun in being number one.
