4090+ Zeta Preview Website Downloads!

Advertising the biggest preview to Yscariot: Sphere of Light was kind of slow with the big move to another city last year and the push to have the novel completed in early 2016. Other things like travel and writing breaks also prevented me from advertising. However, an attempt to advertise occurred for a 2-day only period, and about 1000 more downloads for the “Zeta Preview” of Yscariot™ were recorded through the website alone!

A major thank you to the people who took the time to visit the site and make 19/30 chapters a part of their digital library! If you haven’t yet done so, visit the DOWNLOADS page to get a free preview today!

3234 Zeta Downloads!!!

Such an awesome Christmas gift for us by you, the readers and supporters of this story! Again, happy holidays to all of our supporters!

From April 28th (this year) to December 11th, I had only 995 downloads for the Zeta, and it was pretty slow due to moving, traveling, and not really campaigning much, since I figured most readers were likely reading the Continue reading 3234 Zeta Downloads!!!

28 down; 2 more to go

Yes, I am almost finished with the great journey of completing my first novel, Yscariot™!

With over 58,000 words and 28 verses (chapters), I can say that I am now closer than ever to finishing this project. Of course, I have a lot of extra content that was omitted from the previews and some adjustments big and small to do, but the good thing is that it will be finished before it is to be edited.

Yscariot Explained By Friends

In today’s first-ever UNLIMITED podcast airing. Friends of the author, Marcus Medina, talk about the history of Yscariot to the best of their ability. Marcus Medina uses his awesome memory to recall some events, and we get a deeper look at Charlie Harmony (the person who was the inspiration for the creation of Jon “Lionheart”).

Progression: A Novel in the Works

So, I have done it. I have exceeded the word count necessary for my story to be considered a novel. Here is a leak of the next three verses of my story. I believe I have about 3 more verses to go before the end. Then I can go back and make “elemental” improvements and corrections in my own writing.

Don’t forget to check out my story which is currently in it’s ZETA stage. There are 19 chapters available for free 🙂

Thank you for your support!

Yscariot, Zeta, [ENG] & Alpha [JPN] News!!!

As many of you know, the Action/Heroic fantasy book project that I am writing, titled Yscariot, is a mighty old one that I have built over the course of 16 years. Since mid-January 2014, the story only had 3 written chapters as a graphic hybrid and grown slowly into a small series with three times as many chapters. The reason why I published a series of chapters at a time was because I couldn’t wait to tell the story to the world. Another reason for me starting long before publishing a full novel is because of the length of time to even publish, and with that happening, there are other stories (books and movies) that have been using the same ideas that I created over a decade ago for their own thing. I much rather be the first to showcase my ideas before anyone else for the sake of being original. I do have odes, allusions, and tributes to other stories, but I do it in an original way.

Moving on, I am simply announcing that Yscariot: The Zeta Verses will be releasing shortly on PDF. This means that readers will no longer be limited to previewing the 19 chapters on GooglePlay. The downside to this is that you won’t get that awesome page turning effect, nor will you get the automatic updates that comes with GooglePlay. Again, the story is still in a draft stage, so you as the reader are welcome to suggest changes to any mistake seen or offer critique and feedback.

Lastly, Yscariot: The Alpha Verses will be available in Japanese on May 15th, 2015 on both GooglePlay and PDF formats. Do not be alarmed when seeing news in Japanese, as X’el Studios continues to spread the story to readers of other languages.

Thank you,
~M~
