Hello all! This is the author posting to thank everyone who has an interest in my story, especially the customers! Thank you! Continue reading December ’17 Update~
You can now purchase Yscariot: Sphere of Light at the contributors price and get a first look at the story before the paperback edition becomes available on GooglePlay! If you are using a Kindle, then you can download from Amazon as well. The first edition* to Yscariot: Sphere of Light has been released as an eBook via Amazon! You can follow the link here to make a purchase!
Meanwhile, it’s Gladys‘ birthday! For those who may not know, she is the illustrator who brings the concepts to life in color for the story. With your help, you can help us get closer to releasing a book with illustrations!
Note: For those who purchase a First Edition eBook, a printed personalized Thank You note will be sent to you on request! This will ensure that you have participated greatly in the campaign to help us grow into a successful company! We will also include your name on the wall of GLORIOUS contributors, but the reward is only for a limited time!
Remember, we are self-publishing at the moment, so please respect the price setting for the moment. It is currently set at the year in which the story was created (19.98), while the printed version will be set to $33.33 as they help cover certain fees necessary for the story’s success.
Apologies for the late post!
I, the author of my life’s work for which you are all here for, have been somewhat busy with traveling around the Pacific and being home with family and into my own shell.
On August 3rd of this year, I announced the completion of my first novel, Yscariot: Sphere of Light. Due to “printing politics” in the US, I will soon release the electronic version of my book online for a price set to $15USD or above for the “first look” of the story.
Meanwhile, a crowd-funding campaign will be in the works to have the book printed in the US. In my current country of residence, China [Shanghai area], books may be printed on demand. The FIRST EDITION (100 books) will be set to $33USD to help fund for legal and publishing costs (if I am going to do the self-publishing route). If we can print more paperback books, then we can get more out to the world.
The First Edition will only include the story, as an illustrated version is in hopes for a later and bigger release if we are successful!
I want to thank all of my followers, supporters, and readers, past-present-future, for all you have done for this story. It’s your story!
The word count for Yscariot: Sphere of Light is now 73,137 before reaching the 23rd verse in the editing process. There are currently SEVEN verses left until the first editing process for Yscariot is complete.
TRIVIA: The attack done by Yscariot to Dreas was a favorite move first demonstrated in Tekken 3 by the character, Hwoarang from around the time the move was inspired a year before the story’s conception.
Although the people of Yscariot’s world do not observe the same holidays and religions than those in the real world, it doesn’t stop them from sending you all special greetings to fit the occasion.
You can use them to greet your friends and family, and even if you don’t observe the days, you can share it for good fun!
Major THANK YOU, once again, to the illustrator, Gladys, who created the images for the occasion. In her country, the Philippines, Easter is observed as a major holiday.
For a long time, the ZETA preview served as a way to understand the Yscariot story and has finally been removed from the server. As the editing process moves forward into the 50% range, the question of publishing was mentioned and the issue of having most of the book available online meant that it may compromise the chances of being published.
After a few days of deliberation, the giant preview was removed from the online servers to help with the possibility of hopeful scouting.
I am beginning to discover that editing is perhaps the hardest part of writing a book. The story is also looking more like a story. For that, I wouldn’t have to feel too embarrassed with my writing. The most awesome thing actually is reaching 70,000 words in the manuscript! That’s over four to five thousand words from its first completion!
Now on to Verse 14 out of 29 😀
