Creator & Author Banned from Tencent’s WeChat

Author, Marcus Medina, banned from WeChat for an indefinite about of time.

For no reason stated by Tencent, the leader of the movement was banned indefinitely on their WeChat platform ON HIS BIRTHDAY!

While it definitely made for the worst birthday gift ever, the author of the Yscariot series had a great time celebrating his birthday with delicious Italian food and cake in Shanghai, China.

Back to the banning. A ban on the WeChat platform, which is primarily the main form of communication in China, means a return to the dark ages from a period of 90 days or more. You will not be able to communicate (send/receive messages) along with other things.

Here is the official statement from the author:

To all of my friends in China, if you are reading this, please know that I received the majority of your messages and I want to say thank you so much for the birthday wishes and greetings.

The Yscariot: Issue 01 comic book will probably experience a setback in physical sales due to the WeChat debacle, but I will work to find a way to communicate with you all to work something out.

Sorry for the trouble and hope to catch up with you all again.
